One thing I’ve been meaning to do for quite some time is to get rid of all of my cleaners around the house for safer, natural ones.
We clean our tabletops with nasty, chemical filled cleaners. We wipe them away, but the residue from the cleaners is still on our furniture. It’s especially scary if you have children, and they eat off of the table, or play on them with their toys (and put them in their mouths!). My 2 year old eats off of our coffee table every day, so the thought that he was ingesting these chemicals was a little scary to me.
Here is an extremely easy recipe for an all purpose cleaner, and it works better then all of the chemical ones that I have around the house.
Here’s what you’ll need:
*Spray bottle (I bought mine at the Dollar Tree)
*On Guard Essential Oil
*Your favorite essential oil (I chose Wild Orange)
*Distilled White Vinegar
*On Guard Cleaner Concentrate
-Fill the spray bottle with 13oz water, and 13oz of the Distilled White Vinegar
-Add 2 tablespoons of On Guard Cleaner Concentrate
-Add 20 drops of the On Guard Essential Oil
-Add 10 drops of your favorite essential oil
-Shake, and use!
If you’re having a pretty stubborn stain, you can even just put a few drops of the Cleaner Concentrate directly onto it.
Here is a before and after of my nasty tub!
I’m not joking when I say this stuff is awesome. There’s a reason most home cleaning services advertise that they use doTERRA essential oils!
